Portland & Chicago: More satellite parties just added for JJA Jazz Awards

 Portland and Chicago have just joined the still growing list of locales where local jazz fans will gather on Monday June 14 to celebrate the JJA Jazz Awards at their own satellite parties.


PORTLAND
If you are in Portland, come and celebrate this year's JJA Jazz Awards at the 2010 PDX Satellite Party. Beginning at noon, this midday salute to jazz will take place at South Waterfront's Umpqua Bank and is set to feature streaming video/audio live from the New York event. The party is free and all are welcome.

CHICAGO
In Chicago, new JJA "A Team"  honorees Joe Segal and Geraldine deHaas are expected to attend the satellite party at  Segal's Jazz Showcase . Come celebrate the awards and congratulate them in person. The party is free and all are welcome.

But if you are out of reach of any of the awards parties you can still  participate by watching the streaming video of the awards presentations together with your friends.  Live streaming video will be available on this site during the Awards gala starting at 3:30pm EDT.
